Zoo Day!

I'm ready for a paddle boat ride.

So, this is what the 60's were like.

Uhhh, Dad. Remember when you said that Lion could not get out of his "habitat area?"

Work... Work... Work...

I have to earn my keep by washing cars and assembling shelves; which would not be bad if Dad was not always slowing me down with his suggestions...

Three Generations of Life Time Members

First, it was me and Granddad...

Then Dad finaly became a life time member of the NRA - I tend to have to blaze the trail for Dad.

My Grandparents Would Make Good Santa's

I think Mommy needs some help opening her presents. I might need to show her how to play with them as well.

Hmmmm. Who did I buy that for?

Three generations of Christmas lovers - I'm the one in the middle with my own personal pillow that never leaves my side.

Christmas with the Grinch

We had a good Christmas. John got way too many toys and is now an expert at opening presents. He certainly has his own mind. I took him to buy a blow-up Santa and he saw a blow-up Grench that he insisted on having instead of Santa. We have not watched the Grench with him, so I'm not sure why he was drawn to it. I suppose little boys are just drawn towards green monster looking things, even at Christmas. So, we ended up watching the cartoon Grench and the Jim Carey version of the Grench 100 times each. I thought the Jim Carey version might be too scary for him, but he said "that Grench not scary." So, we had to watch it.

John is sad that Christmas is over, more because we refuse to watch the Grench than any other reason. It was cute when John hugged the blow-up Grench and told him good bye, right before I packed him up for the year.
